torreammare features a beautiful view of Salerno’s gulf. From its position above the dock, through the windows, you’ll be able to witness the most beautiful sunset. The apartment, featuring a big bedroom, a complete kitchen and a comfortable bathroom, is situated in an ancient castle from the 800s called “Palazzo Basile”. A part of this building is built in the castle’s own tower. A small gate and a short staircase (roughly 15 steps) separate the entrance from Benedetto Croce road, important street that connects Vietri with Salerno and a short, easy (roughly 15 steps) flight of steps.

With a pleasant walk (Meeting along the way runners, older people enjoying a walk or families enjoying the view) you can reach Vietri’s first square after 900m. You can also, after 1.9km on foot, reach the famous Rome street in Salerno, where all you have to do is choose your favorite type of local or restaurant to enjoy a pleasant evening.
The bedroom area
Torreammare faetures a big, bright and fresh bedroom. Tuff walls keep things fresh during summer and protect from cold in winter, making the use of the air conditioner almost unnecessary (although still available). The Vietri majolicas and ceramics grace the apartment, giving the room an elegant style.

You’ll find a three doors wardrobe, including extra sheets, A 3-drawers chest and two bedside tables with two drawers to store your clothes. A delightful table with two seats, next to the balcony, will host your appetizers or suggestive views of the sunset. The Wi-Fi in here covers the whole apartment and blackout curtains protect from the morning light. Due to the size of the room we can add a third bed on request.

The kitchen,
The fully equipped kitchen of Torreammare is illuminated by a wide window, framed by a red bricks arc typical of the “castle”, framing the horizon above the sea like a painting. The cooking zone features a modern induction hob with four burners, allowing fast cooking with just one third of its full power. All the pots are, of course, suited for this specific hob, including the coffee maker. Next to the cooking area you’ll find the sink and, in the same area, a small but capacious fridge.

Also incudes a full collection of dishes, glasses, containers and cutlery to organize your kitchen, even for longer stays, and your candlelight dinners. Next you’ll find the breakfast zone, an electric kettle, a toaster, an electric juicer and a small oven to cover all breakfast options. The Vietri decorations return in this area as well, making your stay more pleasant and comfortable.
The bathroom
Even in Torreammare’s bathroom you’ll find the colors and decorations you’ll find in the other rooms. On one side you’ll find the toilet and bidet, with the sink (including shelves and containers to store your items) sitting in front of them. You will also find a hair dryer available. Hot water is stored in an 80l boiler that will make sure you never run out of hot water, and even in the remote case of that happening a symbol on the panel will light up as soon as enough water for a hot shower is available.

The shower is big and comfortable. You’ll find soap and shampoo, in case you forgot them before leaving.
All the rooms, items and dishes are properly cleaned after every guest’s stay.
